Dire Lion:
Before acting, succeed at a Stealth or Survival 7 check or suffer 1d4 Combat damage.
Damage is increased by 1d4-1.
Is the damage increase intended to affect the before acting power? Either way, it could be clearer.
Suggestion:
Change to “ While acting, damage is increased by 1d4-1.”
And if the before acting damage is intended to be affected, change that as well to “…or suffer 2d4-1 Combat damage.”

The damage increase is a different paragraph and thus has nothing to do with the before acting power. This is the common format for cards with multiple unrelated powers.
