## Setup

Before building locations, search the vault for the barrier Thunderstorm and set it aside. After building locations, display Thunderstorm next to the location Dunes.

All characters start at the location Dunes.

Note: The story bane Acid Mantis Queen can be found in PACS Adventure 7-2: . If you do not have access to this bane, you may substitute the Acid Mantis Queen with the story bane Emperor Scorpion from Curse of the Crimson Thrones Adventure 6; in this case, all damage done is Acid damage.

## During This Scenario

When you would banish the barrier Thunderstorm, instead display it next to a random location.

The first time you would defeat and corner the villain, add the new location Lair and shuffle the villain into it.

When you would recharge an Armor to reduce damage from Acid Mantis Queen, discard it instead; when you would discard it, bury it instead.

PACS-style characters may choose a bonus deck upgrade.
